Insurance advice for all China Plus programs
Our partner companies in China will arrange medical insurance and accident insurance for all of our participants. This insurance will partially cover the costs of large medical expenses. Please get in touch with us if you have questions about the standard policy of Chinese insurance companies. Seeing as the standard of coverage of Chinese medical insurances is lower than that of most western medical insurances, we highly recommend our participants to take an extra international insurance before departing to China; one that covers large medical expenses, lost items, repatriation, and of course provides 24/7 assistance. Choosing an insurance is a very personal choice, but for advice you’re always welcome to inform our staff members. Please note the following things about your insurance in China:
- Your Chinese insurance is a basic insurance, it doesn’t cover all expenses. We highly recommend you to take a global insurance as well.
- Your Chinese insurance will be available in China after one month, the moment you normally receive your residence permit.
- If you have special needs or a specific medical condition that’s not in the way of you going to China, always inform China Plus about this. We will take care of you both before and during your stay in China, and it’s very important for us to be able to instruct anyone in China in the right way. Needless to say, we will respect your privacy.
